What does a small business website cost?
A managed website from The Web Plug costs $49 to $249 a month, plus a one-time build fee of $99 to $399 depending on the plan. That monthly price covers the domain, the website, business email, hosting, the SSL certificate, backups and support — there is no separate hosting bill or domain renewal to find later.
Is there a contract?
No. There is no annual lock-in and no minimum term. It is a flat monthly fee you can cancel with 30 days' notice. The setup fee pays for the initial build; after that you are paying us to keep the thing running.
What is the setup fee for?
The one-time fee — $99 on Starter, $399 on Automation — pays for the actual build: the design, the writing, registering the domain, and setting up DNS, SSL and email. It is charged once, at the start, and never again.
Do I own my domain and my website?
Yes, both. The domain is registered in your name with your details on the record, and the content is yours. If you stop working with us, the domain and the content go with you. We run the technology behind it; we do not hold it.
What if I just want a domain, without a website?
You can buy one on its own. A .com is $12 a year plus a one-time $25 to register it and set up the DNS, SSL and email records. Add a website later and we credit what you already paid.
Can I change plan later?
Any time, in either direction. Move up when the bookings pick up, move down when you need to, and we prorate the difference. Nothing is rebuilt and nothing goes offline.
What is not included?
Paid advertising, stock photography licences, and anything needing a third-party subscription in your own name. The AI add-ons are priced separately and listed on the homepage so you can see each one. Everything described in a plan is in that plan.
